£5.60 per adult / £2.80 per child

We have pleasure in announcing that as of today we are introducing a new Lloyds Coaches Day rover ticket.

The ticket will simply be called 'Lloyds Day' and will be priced at £5.60 per adult and £2.80 per child (up to their 16th birthday).

Buy the ticket on the first bus you board and use it all day on the Lloyds Coaches network of services including the evening X32 service operated by Express Motors between Dolgellau and Aberystwyth as well as our new X27 service between Machynlleth and Dolgellau.

The ticket cannot be purchased on services 34A, 36, X32 (Sundays & bank holidays), and X85 as they are council full cost contracted services.

We are bringing out this ticket as we care for our valued passengers following the recent 19% rise in the Red Rover ticket price from £5.40 per adult to £6.40 as well as other fare and ticket increases!!

You will now be able to travel from Dolgellau and Tywyn to Aberystwyth for only £5.60 via our X27/X28/X29 family of servies.

Important changes to our bus network - from 01 April 2012

We have changes taking place to our bus network as from Sunday the 1st of April 2012.

This is due to additional work being won through a recent bus tendering exercise carried out by Gwynedd Council and also we have taken the opportunity to improve connections between our services.

The Chrysler 300 CRD is a must as a wedding car and is our new addition to the wedding car fleet as of 2012.

Its commanding presence on the road will definitely turn heads as you arrive on your wedding day and will definitely contribute positively to your special day.

A new state of the art double decker comes to town! A brand new state of the art double decker has been delivered to Lloyds Coaches this week. This new vehicle comes with 3 point seat belts fitted to each seat and includes a state of the art 11 multi camera CCTV system for the continued safety of our passengers and driving staff. This vehicle will also include a tracking device as fitted to other existing vehicles in the fleet for better in house co-ordination at times of strategic bus connections with other services. The addition of the new double decker firmly demonstrates the Company's investment and commitment to its passengers. The new vehicle will operate on the rebranded X28 (Machynlleth - Aberystwyth) service as from the beginning of September. As from September 2011 the X28 service will be rebranded as the X28 Coastliner service together with the existing X29 (Llanegryn - Tywyn - Machynlleth) which will also become the X29 Coastliner service. Both services will operate under the banner Cambrian Coastliner Coast to Coast (Arfordir i Arfordir) - network of services linking the Tywyn coast - Machynlleth - Aberystwyth coast. The Cambrian Coastliner Coast to Coast network will provide quality and reliable services embracing traditional, local and old fashioned values in the way we deliver our services to you our valued passengers.

Bus - train integration for the benefit of our passengers! As from Monday the 11th of July day return and weekly tickets issued on the X28 bus service or the train between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth will be accepted on each others service.  Travel one way on the bus and come back on the train or vice versa.  This arrangement includes the evening and Sunday Bank Holiday service journeys operated by Express Motors between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth.
