Bus Service Alerts in force : Sunday 29 January 2012 - X32 diversion at Dolgellau

Due to roadworks on Smithfield Road leading into Dolgellau Eldon Square on Sunday the 29th of January, 2012 bus service X32 will serve the bus stops opposite the Arriva depot on Arran Road only and will therefore NOT serve the normal bus stop at Eldon Square. A Chrysler 300 CRD SRT Design joins our Wedding & Corporate Car fleet for 2012.

The Chrysler 300 CRD is a must as a wedding car and is our new addition to the wedding car fleet as of 2012.

Its commanding presence on the road will definitely turn heads as you arrive on your wedding day and will definitely contribute positively to your special day.

New bus service contracts come to Lloyds Coaches.

As from Sunday the 30h of October we have pleasure in announcing that we will be operating bus service 28 (Tywyn - Dolgellau) and the full service on bus route 33 (Dolgellau - Brithdir/Llanfachreth/Aberangell) following our success in the recent bus service retendering round of bus routes in Meirionnydd by Gwynedd Council.

A new state of the art double decker comes to town!

A brand new state of the art double decker has been delivered to Lloyds Coaches this week.

This new vehicle comes with 3 point seat belts fitted to each seat and includes a state of the art 11 multi camera CCTV system for the continued safety of our passengers and driving staff.

This vehicle will also include a tracking device as fitted to other existing vehicles in the fleet for better in house co-ordination at times of strategic bus connections with other services.

The addition of the new double decker firmly demonstrates the Company's investment and commitment to its passengers.

The new vehicle will operate on the rebranded X28 (Machynlleth - Aberystwyth) service as from the beginning of September.

As from September 2011 the X28 service will be rebranded as the X28 Coastliner service together with the existing X29 (Llanegryn - Tywyn - Machynlleth) which will also become the X29 Coastliner service.

Both services will operate under the banner Cambrian Coastliner Coast to Coast (Arfordir i Arfordir) - network of services linking the Tywyn coast - Machynlleth - Aberystwyth coast.

The Cambrian Coastliner Coast to Coast network will provide quality and reliable services embracing traditional, local and old fashioned values in the way we deliver our services to you our valued passengers.

Bus - train integration for the benefit of our passengers!

As from Monday the 11th of July day return and weekly tickets issued on the X28 bus service or the train between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth will be accepted on each others service. Travel one way on the bus and come back on the train or vice versa. This arrangement includes the evening and Sunday Bank Holiday service journeys operated by Express Motors between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth.
